omg.omg. omg. iris sent me the song we're singing for commencement next week. and it's SO SO SO SO cheesy. i wanna puke just reading the lyrics. imagine: "the world awaits our enterprise, for we're sons and daughters all set forth from Alma Mater's Halls...we will draw new strength from past golden days recalled...bringing honor to the fore to NUS forever more." *gag* yuck yuck yuck. is it too late for me to pull out of singing for commencement??
and i spent all day yesterday helping mum to do her project. imagine that. approx 12 hours of cutting paper animals. what kinda teacher is she sia? her own project and she gets me and bro to do it FOR her. *rolls eyes* at least my fingers aren't hurting today. they were cramping like heck last night. should pay me $6 per hour. muahahahaha!
in school today. brought bro to use the library. his first time at nus. cool. lol. of course there are those idiots who still don't know what is the meaning of 'don't vandalise the library books'. you'd think at their age they'd know this simple fact by now. but...goes to show. the higher up you go, the more stupid you get about stuff like this. geez.
btw, using myspace account too. http://www.myspace.com/mezzogal it's not much. just a reproduction of my blogger blog onto the myspace blog. but...whoever's got a myspace account, intro yourself and add me. i got no friends. *act pathetic*

just some mindless ramblings.
i screwed up the psalm again. sigh. considering not cantoring for a while. my voice never had the chance to recover since i last fell sick. :p and it's affecting my voice. it's getting a whole lot worse, and it's seen when i cantor.
went shopping with mum. saw this really cool top, nice, cream colour, beaded. but a tad too small for me. sigh. and there was no other one in that design that's a bigger size. all you people who are small, count your blessings. it's so easy for you to find stuff to wear. got a new pair of shoes. needed to. my darling old pair is gonna fall apart in the near future. one more heavy rainstorm and it'll be bye-bye for good. haven't gotten round to throwing them away yet.
supposed to go cut hair. but the queue was so darn long...i'll wait till next time. cos i'm too cheap to go to a proper salon. lol. of course, a proper salon would do a much better job, but they'll charge like a million times more.
wanna change a video for my blog. but can't decide what video to put. so, for now, no music.
need to call the agency later. *reminds self*

today has been an interesting learning experience. today was the first day of my 2 day temp job. poh lin's recommendation. remind me to slap her when i next see her. supposed to be data entry. ends up being the multi-purpose, free for all temp employee of the office. poh lin would be better suited for it.
let me explain. ok, i reported at 9am, the person A isn't there yet. so, after explaining myself, in which no one at the office knows i'm supposed to be there, i'm sent to wait at the reception area. which is very nice and pretty and had a nice hitachi plasma tv showing off the company's achievements. wait till 9.30 then A arrives. wasn't till 10plus that i actually started some work. expected the wait lah. that was ok. collating data for him. then, went for lunch by my lonesome. A went out before me and came back like, half hour after me. and i went for the full hour. anyway, A's work done, he passed me over to his colleague M who wants me to help her do RSVP-ing. which is...call up a bunch of people on a VERY long list and ask if they're attending the company function. *jaw drops* it's times like these, i actually feel thankful for juice asia's training in how to talk to strangers. well, anyway, there i was, calling up god know's who on the list. and getting all their secretaries, answering machines, and automatic answering systems. there was even a case where the person i spoke to claimed that the person i was looking for didn't exist in that company. talk about really needing to update their contact list. geez. thank god, it'll be over tomorrow 6pm. if i go really slowly, maybe i don't need to talk to so many people. :D cos that's all i'm going to be doing tmr. i've been told. i'm gonna go through the list again, then after that, help to stuff envelopes. and they call this data entry. oh well, beats making tea.
interesting thing. there's a lot of ang moh's in the office. they strolled in at 10.30, sat down and started chitchatting in really really really loud voices, went for lunch at 12, came back at 2, hung around for an hour or so, then went in for meeting. and basically that was their day. geez. being ang moh, good life sia. haha!
i can handle it. if i can handle juice, i can handle anything.
more tmr after i finish.

updating again. i completely forgot to wish poh lin happy birthday on sunday. *smack myself* gosh. what kinda friend am i? but anyway, we already met up for dinner on friday. that was interesting. me was supposed to meet sumi at 5. she didn't show up till 6. so i spent the hour meandering through bugis junction. at least i managed to get present for feng cai and dad. i think i must have meandered through bugis at least 3 freaking times. but, she showed up in the end. met poh lin and duan hui and went to seoul garden. that was fun. we ate from 7.30 all the way till 9pm before we got started on dessert. that duan hui very cute the way she kept throwing mushrooms into the soup. but at least, we didn't eat any uncooked or badly burnt food. :D
sunday. stupid lectors practically started to scold me cos i didn't have a prepared song list ready for them at their demand. *rolls eyes* i was never aware that i had to have the list for them. they were like, the evening mass always does one up very nicely, why can't you do the same?? maybe i'm supposed to do a list, but the point is, you could ask nicely what. that kind of tone. totally turns me off. even if i could do it, i don't feel like it anymore. it's not my fault that the scheduled animator didn't show up. and i already offered you the book liao. stuff there written nicely out. and you act like it's invisible or something?! geez. and it's not like it's their first time animating at the church. they know by now how it works. grrr. after this episode, a specially prepared song list for you is a privilege not a right.
moving on. eugene vaz did mass. thank goodness. else i would have fallen asleep during homily. he did a half hour homily, but it was really interesting. or rather, he was very interesting to watch.
baby came over in the evening. she's so so cute. she talks and talks but we all have no idea what she talking about. it's not in any language any of us recognises.
and today, i saw my clay aiken google alerts. guess what that crazy JP is up to now. the whole affair is becoming more ridiculous and idiotic than it started out to be. now, he's apologising for the whole issue, saying that he's seen the error of his ways and he shouldn't have spilled to the whole world that he and clay...well, you get the picture. and btw, he's not denying that they were together. he's just denying that he sold the story to the tabloids. bullshit. i like this comment that someone made: "The Claymates are not to be trifled with. They have an omnivorous wrath that can only otherwise be found in legends about Yahweh and Cthulhu.
So John, you should just give in to the Claymates and let them lynch you. You will never have peace nor joy in your life ever again anyway." bravo! JP, you crazy idiot, it's too late to apologise for anything. no one will believe you now.
and i'm still behind on my to do list. geez. not a good thing. definitely not a good thing. :p time to get to work girl!
